November 2008:  Congratulations, America!

 November 5, 2008

CONGRATULATIONS, AMERICA, ON OUR NEW PRESIDENT-ELECT!

And thank you, fellow American voters!

To me Barack Obama's election means hope over fear, and change over hate.

I have been an American citizen for 21 years.  Yesterday was my proudest day politically.
    (And today! And tomorrow!)

    YES WE CAN.

I've read many enthusiastic responses from fellow Americans and international
observers.   Here is a great essay by Moondance publisher Loretta Kemsley:
Reflections on America's Ideals; also No More Excuses by Michelle Petit-Sumrall (with
links to other election-related blogs); Ana Alleman, an American woman living in Honduras
